Most wedding gowns and dresses are one piece affairs. However, the reality of women's bodies is that sometimes the upper body is drastically different from what the lower body looks like. This means that it's sometimes hard to get a wedding dress that fits well and looks good, even if your body overall is in great shape.

One way to solve that issue is to buy a two-piece wedding ensemble. In this respect, it will remind you somewhat of a shirt and skirt combination like something you would wear to work. The bride to decide to make up the colors somewhat and have the bodice be a different color than the silhouette.

It also makes it easier to do alterations and might even say a little bit of money. You might only have to have minor adjustments done him one part of the dress as opposed to the other part of the dress, which takes less time and therefore would cost you less money. You could even go out and buy two separate regular dresses where you like the top part of one in the bottom part of another and have those altered so that it becomes your perfect wedding ensemble.

It might be harder to find a lot of two-piece ensembles only because not enough people know about them to ask for them. However, a quick search on the Internet will lead you to the thousands of choices that you can make, summit pretty high prices, and others at discount prices. It's a great option to think about, especially if you have one of those bodies where one size dress doesn't necessarily fit all.
